Merrion Square
Share
For many years especially in my youth I spent plenty of Sundays wandering around Merrion Square admiring the work of all of the artists exhibiting on the railings of the beautiful Georgian square in the open air. It was always a place to go to buy a birthday or wedding gift or to treat yourself. I always loved the engagement with artists, a chance to chat about their inspiration and ideas.
Merrion Art founded in 1985, is a huge part of Dublin's artistic culture spanning over 40 years and this was celebrated recently at the book launch and art exhibition 'Whatever the Weather' in the Crypt of City Hall in Oct 2025.

I am delighted to say that I have secured my place on Merrion square and you can find me outside the National gallery (No 26) on Sundays. I love to chat about my work so please pop by and say hello.
